Gentle exercises can help relax focusing muscles and improve eye flexibility.

Recipe/Instructions

  1. Focus Change: Hold a pen or finger at arm's length. Slowly bring it closer to your nose, maintaining focus on it. Then slowly move it back out. Repeat several times.
  2. Eye Rolling: Slowly roll your eyes clockwise in a large circle, then counterclockwise. Repeat 2-3 times.
  3. Palming: Rub your hands together briskly to warm them up. Close your eyes and gently cup your warm palms over your eyes without applying pressure. Hold for 30-60 seconds, breathing deeply to relax.
  4. Perform these exercises during your 20-20-20 breaks or whenever eyes feel tired.
