Vinegar Soak

4

Soak the calcified area in white vinegar, which is acidic and dissolves mineral buildup. For faucets or showerheads, wrap a cloth soaked in vinegar around the fixture and secure it with a rubber band, or fill a plastic bag with vinegar and tie it around the fixture, ensuring the affected parts are submerged. Leave it for 15-60 minutes (depending on severity), then remove the wrap/bag and scrub gently with an old toothbrush or non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly with water.
