Wear with Thick Socks & Use Heat (Leather Shoes)

4

Description

Wearing thick socks helps stretch the shoe material, while gentle heat makes leather more pliable.

Recipe/Instructions

  1. Thick Socks: Put on a pair of thick socks (or two pairs of regular socks).
  2. Wear Shoes: Force your feet into the new shoes. It should feel snug.
  3. Walk Around: Wear the shoes around the house for short periods (e.g., 1-2 hours) initially, gradually increasing the time.
  4. Apply Heat (Leather Only): While wearing the shoes with thick socks, aim a hair dryer (on medium heat) at the tightest areas for 20-30 seconds, keeping the dryer moving. Flex and bend your feet while the leather is warm to help it mold to your foot shape.
  5. Cool Down: Keep the shoes on until the leather cools completely.
  6. Repeat this process several times if needed.
