Use Soap/Shaving Cream Film or Anti-Fog Products

4

Description

Creating a thin, invisible surfactant layer on the lenses prevents water droplets from forming fog.

Recipe/Instructions

  1. Soap/Shaving Cream Method: Wash lenses with soapy water and shake off excess liquid, allowing them to air dry OR apply a tiny drop of clear dish soap or shaving cream to each lens, rub it across the entire surface, then gently buff it clear with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. This leaves a residue that prevents fogging.
  2. Commercial Products: Use commercially available anti-fog sprays or wipes designed specifically for eyeglasses. Follow the product instructions for application.
  3. Mask Fit: If fogging occurs while wearing a mask, ensure the mask fits snugly over the nose bridge. Use masks with a moldable nose wire or add a folded tissue under the top edge to block warm breath from escaping upwards.
