Use Dryer Sheets, Water Mist, or Metal

4

Description

Static electricity builds up in dry conditions. Adding moisture or grounding the charge eliminates cling.

Recipe/Instructions

Clothes: 1. In Dryer: Add a fabric softener dryer sheet or wool dryer balls to the drying cycle. 2. After Drying: If clothes are clinging, lightly mist them with water from a spray bottle. Or, rub the inside of the garment with a dryer sheet or run a wire/metal hanger over the surface to discharge the static. 3. While Wearing: If cling occurs while dressed, discreetly rub a dryer sheet over the clinging area or touch a grounded metal object (like a metal pole or water pipe) to discharge static from your body. Hair: 1. Lightly mist hair with water or run damp hands over it. 2. Apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner or hair serum. 3. Run a dryer sheet gently over the surface of your hair. 4. Use a metal comb instead of plastic.
