Hair Dryer or Flat Iron (Use with Caution)
2
Description
Other heat styling tools can sometimes substitute for an iron, but require care.
Recipe/Instructions
- Hair Dryer: Hang the garment or lay it flat. Lightly mist the wrinkled areas with water from a spray bottle. Set a hair dryer on a low or medium heat setting and hold it a few inches away from the fabric, directing the airflow over the wrinkles while smoothing the fabric with your other hand.
- Hair Flat Iron (Delicate Fabrics/Collars): Ensure the flat iron plates are clean. Set it to the lowest heat setting appropriate for the fabric. Quickly pass the iron over small wrinkled areas like collars or cuffs. Do not leave it in one place. Use extreme caution: this method is risky and can easily scorch or damage fabric if not done carefully on appropriate materials.
What makes the Dish Special
N/A - Uses alternative heat sources, but requires significant caution, especially the flat iron method.
