Pick up debris with keyboard cleaning gel

Keyboard cleaning gel (or putty) lifts dust, crumbs, and hair from between keys without leaving residue. Press a piece of gel gently onto the powered-off keyboard, push it slightly into the gaps, then peel it away slowly — debris sticks to the gel.

Steps

1. Power off the laptop.
2. Press the gel onto a section of the keyboard, working it lightly between the keys.
3. Peel it away slowly. Dust and crumbs will cling to the gel surface.
4. Fold the dirty side inward and repeat across the remaining keys.

Tips

• Replace the gel when it darkens and loses tackiness
• Do not press too hard or leave the gel sitting on keys for extended periods
• Works best for surface debris — pair with compressed air for deeper cleaning
