Apply a screen protector to hide minor scratches

4

Place a tempered glass screen protector over your phone screen. The adhesive layer fills in micro-scratches, refracting light differently so they become nearly invisible. This also prevents new scratches from forming.

Steps

  1. Clean the screen thoroughly with a microfiber cloth and an alcohol wipe to remove all dust and oils.
  2. Purchase a tempered glass protector designed for your specific phone model — thicker glass hides scratches better than thin film.
  3. Align and apply the protector according to its instructions, ensuring no dust gets trapped underneath.
  4. Smooth out any air bubbles by pressing from the center outward.

Tips

  • Works best on fine surface scratches that you cannot feel with a fingernail
  • Tempered glass protectors outperform plastic film for hiding existing scratches
  • If scratches are deep enough to catch a fingernail, a protector will not conceal them
