Visual Inspection and Seasonal Adjustments

3

Description

While not precise, visually inspecting tires and understanding temperature effects are part of good maintenance.

Recipe/Instructions

  1. Visual Check: Regularly look at your tires. While you can't judge exact pressure visually, look for obvious signs of underinflation (bulging sidewalls) or uneven wear patterns.
  2. Temperature Effects: Tire pressure decreases in colder weather and increases in hotter weather (roughly 1 PSI for every 10°F change in ambient temperature). Be sure to check and adjust pressure more frequently during significant temperature swings (e.g., start of winter/summer).
  3. Manual Check is Key: Remember that visual checks and temperature awareness supplement, but do not replace, regular checks with a pressure gauge.

What makes the Dish Special
