Install adjustable leveling feet

Screw or tap adjustable leveling feet into the bottom of each leg. Set the furniture on the floor and turn the threaded feet in or out until the piece sits level and stable. This compensates for both uneven legs and uneven floors.

Why It Works

Leveling feet provide precise height adjustment at each leg independently. They address wobble from uneven floors without modifying the furniture itself.

Tips

• Screw-in types need a threaded insert drilled and installed in each leg first
• Tap-in types with rubber bases work for lighter furniture and are easier to install
• Available at hardware stores for $5-10 for a set of four
• Also prevents floor scratches and dampens noise on hard floors
