Description
For objects too heavy or awkward for one person, lifting with one or more helpers requires communication and coordination.
Recipe/Instructions
- Ensure you have enough helpers for the object's weight and size.
- Designate Leader: One person should take the lead to coordinate the lift.
- Plan & Communicate: Discuss the path, grip points, and the lifting process before starting. Agree on verbal cues (e.g., 'Ready? Lift on three. One, two, three, lift!').
- Position Correctly: All lifters should position themselves appropriately around the object, ensuring they can use proper lifting technique (Solution 1).
- Lift Together: Lift simultaneously on the agreed cue, keeping the load balanced.
- Move Smoothly: Walk slowly and communicate any needed adjustments or stops.
- Lower Together: Lower the object simultaneously on cue.
