Why It Works

Grout pens and paints deposit an opaque, water-resistant coating over the existing grout surface. They mask stains that cleaning cannot remove, such as deeply absorbed dye, rust, or years of embedded grime. Many formulas also contain fungicides that inhibit future mold growth.

Tips

• Clean the grout thoroughly and let it dry completely before applying -- paint will not adhere to dirty or damp grout
• Choose a color that matches your existing grout; white and light grey are the most common options
