Place patties inside hive

Placing pollen patties inside the hive, directly on top bars or between frames, reduces their exposure to air and drying conditions. When patties are placed on top of the hive or outside the inner cover, they are more exposed to air circulation and temperature fluctuations, leading to faster drying. Placing patties within the hive body, closer to the brood nest and bee cluster, provides a more humid and protected environment, slowing down moisture loss and preventing rapid drying. Internal patty placement helps maintain patty palatability and extends their usable life within the hive.
