Drop BTI-based mosquito dunks into standing water that cannot be drained, such as birdbaths, ponds, and rain barrels. BTI (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis) kills mosquito larvae within hours while remaining harmless to birds, fish, pets, and beneficial insects.

Why It Works

BTI produces proteins that are toxic exclusively to mosquito, black fly, and fungus gnat larvae. It is classified by the EPA as practically non-toxic to all other organisms. One standard dunk treats up to 100 square feet of water surface for 30 days.
