Use Baking Soda/Toothpaste (Crayon) or Alcohol (Marker)
Description
Different marks require different approaches: mild abrasives for crayon, solvents for permanent marker.
Recipe/Instructions
Crayon: 1. Dip a damp cloth or sponge into baking soda, creating a light paste. 2. Gently rub the crayon mark in a circular motion. Baking soda acts as a mild abrasive. 3. Alternatively, apply a small amount of non-gel white toothpaste to a cloth and rub gently. 4. Wipe the area clean with a clean, damp cloth. Permanent Marker: 1. Apply rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or alcohol-based hand sanitizer to a cotton ball or clean cloth. 2. Gently dab and rub the marker stain. The alcohol should start to dissolve the ink. Replace the cotton ball as it picks up ink. 3. For stubborn marks, a Magic Eraser (melamine foam sponge) can also work, but test first as it's abrasive and can affect paint sheen. 4. Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth. Important: Always test any cleaning method on an inconspicuous area of the wall first to ensure it doesn't damage the paint finish.
