Similar to toothpaste, a paste of baking soda combined with a mild acid might help clean and lightly polish headlight lenses.
Recipe/Instructions
- Clean the headlights.
- Mix baking soda with a small amount of white vinegar or lemon juice to form a thick paste.
- Apply the paste to the headlight lens.
- Scrub the paste with a cloth or sponge for several minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with water and dry.
- Assess results. May require multiple applications for minor improvement. UV sealant afterward is recommended.
