Similar to toothpaste, a paste of baking soda combined with a mild acid might help clean and lightly polish headlight lenses.

Recipe/Instructions

  1. Clean the headlights.
  2. Mix baking soda with a small amount of white vinegar or lemon juice to form a thick paste.
  3. Apply the paste to the headlight lens.
  4. Scrub the paste with a cloth or sponge for several minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry.
  6. Assess results. May require multiple applications for minor improvement. UV sealant afterward is recommended.
