Scrape embedded hair loose with a pumice stone

Lightly drag a pumice stone or specialized pet hair removal stone across upholstery and carpet in short strokes. The porous texture catches and pulls embedded hairs into clumps that are easy to vacuum up.

Steps

1. Use a dedicated pumice stone or pet hair stone (not one used for skin care)
2. Drag the flat edge across the fabric in short, light strokes
3. Vacuum up the collected hair clumps

Tips

• Use gentle pressure to avoid pilling or damaging delicate upholstery
• Works best on tightly woven fabrics and low-pile carpet where hair gets deeply embedded
• Pet-specific hair stones are available at pet supply stores and tend to be softer than foot-care pumice
