Match your detergent to your wash temperature

Choose a detergent formulated for the water temperature you use most. Cold-water detergents contain enzymes specifically engineered to activate at low temperatures, while standard detergents may not clean as effectively below 65°F.

Why It Works

Enzyme activity is temperature-dependent. Standard detergents often contain enzymes optimized for warm water that become sluggish in cold. Cold-water formulas use specially selected enzyme strains and additional surfactants to compensate. Using the wrong detergent for your water temperature results in subpar cleaning.
