Description
For non-porous surfaces like glass or metal, soaking can effectively loosen paper labels and water-based adhesives.
Recipe/Instructions
- If possible, submerge the item in warm, soapy water for 15-30 minutes.
- Alternatively, saturate a cloth or paper towel with warm water or white vinegar and lay it over the sticker/label.
- Let it soak until the label is thoroughly wet and softened.
- Peel or scrape off the label. It should come off more easily.
- Address any remaining residue using the methods in Solution 1 (oil, solvent).
