Use Shower Steam or Damp Cloth in Dryer
4
Description
Utilizing steam, either from a shower or in a dryer, relaxes fabric fibers to release wrinkles.
Recipe/Instructions
- Shower Steam: Hang the wrinkled garment on a hanger in the bathroom (away from direct water spray). Close the door and take a hot shower for 10-15 minutes. The steam buildup in the room will help relax the wrinkles. Gently smooth the fabric afterward.
- Dryer Method: Place the wrinkled item(s) in the dryer along with a damp (not soaking wet) washcloth or a couple of ice cubes. Run the dryer on a medium or high heat setting for 5-15 minutes. The moisture creates steam inside the dryer. Remove clothes promptly to prevent new wrinkles from setting.
