Break Paint Seals

- Solution -> Use a putty knife or a utility knife to carefully score along the edges where the window sash meets the frame to break any paint seals.
- Explanation -> Paint can sometimes stick the window shut. Scoring the edges can free it up.
- Notes -> Be careful not to damage the wood or glass.
