Soak Fabric in Warm Vinegar

Description
White vinegar can help loosen gum from some fabrics.
Recipe/Instructions
- Heat a small amount of white vinegar in a microwave-safe bowl until warm, but not boiling.
- Submerge the gum-affected area of the fabric into the warm vinegar, or saturate the spot using a cloth soaked in warm vinegar.
- Let it sit for several minutes.
- Use a soft brush (like a toothbrush) or cloth to gently rub the gum until it dissolves or loosens enough to be scraped off.
- Launder the item as usual afterward.
