Toothpaste and Baking Soda Paste

Description

A mildly abrasive paste can sometimes buff out superficial white marks.

Recipe/Instructions

  1. Mix equal parts non-gel white toothpaste and baking soda to form a paste.
  2. Apply a small amount of the paste to a soft, damp cloth.
  3. Gently rub the paste onto the white ring, following the grain of the wood. Use light pressure.
  4. Rub for only a minute or so.
  5. Wipe the paste off completely with a clean, damp cloth.
  6. Dry and buff the area with another clean cloth.
  7. Test in an inconspicuous area first, as this method is slightly abrasive.
